Lakeview Pantry Volunteer Opportunity - CANCELED

As the outbreak of the novel coronavirus grows internationally and across the country, Penn State University and the Alumni Association are taking precautions to protect the well-being of students and alumni. Alumni groups - including Penn State Chicago - will cancel or postpone all activities scheduled through April 18th.
 
Join us on Saturday, April 4th from 11am-2pm as we work alongside a local community organization, Lakeview Pantry, to help ensure our Chicago-neighbors secure the food they need. We will unload and sort through donations of food arriving at the pantry's warehouse, as well as sort orders to go to other locations and load them into Lakeview Pantry's vehicles. Closed toe shoes are required, and volunteers are required to wear comfortable clothing (something which could get a little messy).
