The committee’s charge is to present and implement ideas to provide PSU alumni in the Chicago area an opportunity to get to know other alumni and develop camaraderie. Some Social Committee activities include Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox outings, dining out events, Second City, a wine tasting party, and a scavenger hunt, to name a few. Crossover events with other committees such as the sports and service include bus trips to away Big 10 football games, participation in Walk For Hope, and viewing parties for all Penn State football games.
