Penn Staters dominated weekend activities in Evanston
Thank you to all the alumni and friends who attended Penn State activities Halloween '09 weekend in Evanston. The weekend started with a musical theater event at Hotel Orrington followed by an alumni mixer at Tommy Nevin's Pub. Generous alumni at the mixer event helped raised $455 for the chapter's scholarship fund and were treated to surprise appearance by former Buckeye Eddie George. The lion, pep band, and cheerleaders performed and pumped up the crowd for Saturday's game.
On Saturday, Penn State fans gathered for tailgate events in Evanston and were out in full force to cheer the Nittany Lions on to victory.
