Join alumni, fans, and families for Friday evening's Pep Rally Mixer at the Chicago Sports Museum, a one of a kind venue on Michigan Avenue -- home to Chicago's Magnificent Mile. The Nittany Lion, Blue Band, and Penn State Cheerleaders will surely get you pumped up for Saturday's game!  

The event takes place from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will also feature special guest speakers, stationed food, cash bar, and more! Proceeds will benefit the Chapter's THON and Scholarship Fund initiatives. 

The event is sold out. Tickets were priced at $30 for general admission and $45 for VIP.  VIP tickets include early access to the venue at 6:30 p.m., first look at silent auction and exhibits, entry into a VIP raffle, and a special Penn State Chicago VIP gift!  

About The Chicago Sports Museum

The Chicago Sports Museum combines high-tech interactive experiences—including skill challenges and simulated experiences—with unique sports memorabilia and an impressive collection of game-used treasures and other artifacts. 

Begin your tour of Chicago sports history with a chance to test your skills against some of the all-time greats.  Remember Bears great William “Refrigerator” Perry? Try on a replica of his Super Bowl ring, the largest one ever crafted. Learn about curses that have beleaguered teams around the world and superstitions that players use to ward off “bad luck.” Immerse yourself in the world of Cubs lore and legends, from the remains of the Infamous Foul Ball from the 2003 playoff run to the Sports Almanac and Hoverboard from “Back to the Future II” which predicted the Cubs would win the World Series. Take a step back in time and view newspaper headlines from Chicago’s biggest moments in sports, from Harry Caray’s Broadcasting career to World Series Championships, Stanley Cups, Super Bowls and more!

Getting There

The Chicago Sports Museum is located on the 7th floor in the iconic Water Tower Place which is only a couple blocks away from the Chicago Red Line L stop and near many CTA bus routes.  The best option to get to the Chicago Sports Museum is via an un-named side street between Chestnut and Pearson because there is an express elevator that will take you directly to the 7th floor. If entering from Michigan Avenue, walk directly the to the back (east side) of the building and take the elevators to the 7th floor. There will be blue and white signage to help guide you. You can park at the Water Tower Place after 5:00 pm for $12 for up to five hours with validation. The Water Tower Place parking facility is accessible from Chestnut Street, offering direct indoor access to the shopping center 24 hours a day.
