Join us at one of our football viewing party locations, A.J. Hudson’s or Durkin’s, for the Blue White game!

The 15th practice of the spring, which James Franklin considers to be one of the program’s annual “family reunions” will unfold in a couple of weeks in Beaver Stadium. The Blue-White game on April 21 will cap spring drills as the program turns the page to the next phase of the offseason.

Replacing Saquon Barkley will be a task that falls on the shoulder of several players, but on the other side of the ball the Nittany Lions have several starters to replace. Questions about a successful season will likely be dictated by how the defense comes along, which is why there will be many eyes focused on coordinator Brent Pry’s defense during the spring game.

Gone is middle linebacker Jason Cabinda and so too are both of the 2017 starting safeties. Cornerback Grant Haley won’t be suited up and neither will either of the starting defensive tackles last year as they all prep for the NFL.

April 21 will be the first time Penn State fans get an up close look at those vying to fill the voids left by Cabinda, Haley, Marcus Allen and Troy Apke, among others. It’s also the first time 5-star signee Micah Parsons, who enrolled in January, will put on LaVar Arrington’s old No. 11 and run out of the tunnel.
